Step 3: Widgetize Your Wiki

Learn to incorporate dynamic Web 2.0 widgets (i.e. embed HTML code using the TV icon and the code offered by the web service)
  • Create a PollDaddy poll and embed it into your wiki.
  • Find a presentation on SlideShare (or upload your own) and embed it into your wiki.
  • Aggregate RSS/ATOM Feeds with Grazr
  • Find a video on TeacherTube and embed it into your wiki.
  • Find a data set, graph, or chart on Swivel and embed it into your wiki.
  • Create a Meebo Room (private chat room) and embed it into your wiki.
  • Create a Bubbl.us mind map and embed it into your wiki.
  • Create a VoiceThread digital photo story and embed it onto your wiki.
  • Use ClockLink to add a custom clock or countdown clock to your wiki.
